Oyo Government Intensifies Rehabilitation of 37.1km Batake-Olowa-Ijaiye Road
Oyo State Government said it has intensified the rehabilitation of the 37.1-kilometre Alako-Idiya-Batake-Olowa-Ijaiye Farm Settlement Road in Ido Local Government Area under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project, RAAMP.
The government disclosed this in a statement on its Official feedback handle on X.
The statement stressed that the road provides an important link to the Oyo State Agribusiness Industrial Hub in Ijaiye, connecting surrounding farming communities with the agricultural hub and other markets.
Upon completion, the 37.1-kilometre road is expected to improve the movement of agricultural produce, reduce transportation difficulties and post-harvest losses associated with poor road access, and strengthen the connection between farmers, markets and essential services.
